I started out in the 1990s in Cape Town, South Africa, attending art and photography school at the then Frank Joubert Art Centre (now Peter Clarke Art Centre) in Newlands, Western Cape, South Africa. Back then, we had to have a dark room and develop our own photographs from negatives to prints. 

The love for film and photography followed me, and after finding more time to follow my passions, I will be using more of my time photographing everything bright and vibrant around me once more.  Almost done raising my three children, and am now a full-time pup mum (to a couple of vivacious mini Australian Shepherds) there is some time to fill my moments with images...when I'm not running my husband's chiropractic clinic here in Newport News.

I love the teeny people and the older people, but my favourite thing is to make everyone feel loved and special and beautiful.  Photographs can be timeless and that is my goal - creating an image and memory you'll love decades from now.
